Sleepless in Riverville

Titled that way because I'm literally sleepless.  Haven't had a wink of sleep tonight after an attack of existential dread earlier in the evening.  That attack has passed, but its aftereffect has left me awake all night, and I called and left my boss a message about an hour and a half ago that I won't be making it in today.  After a night like this
