I cannot express in words what this evening and these past few months have meant to me. But as I stood in front of the candlelight circle for the first time to blow out the candle, I was able to say, with an aching heart:

"Thank you, Matthew and Goodnight Laramie."

memories, reflection

that was an incredible moment, standing in that circle, even if i don't really know if i had any place being there at all. but nevertheless i could still feel it. kmart said it perfectly. and then we blew out the candles and the lights dimmed to nothing, perfectly. it was a perfect moment. and then we all just sort of sat there in silence in the dark for a few seconds because no one knew what to do after that. that's the best candle ceremony i've ever been to. what kmart said at the beginning, and then what tim said, and even what dillon said was amazing. i cannot believe you guys pulled that off, and that you pulled it off with such a bang. you guys should be ridiculously proud of yourselves. each and every one of you was outstanding. even kron was speechless. i never saw the legendary main stage jcs, but i don't know. i think laramie project is the best thing that's ever happened to the little high school theater program. i don't see how anything could beat that. even vlasin said it's the best production she's ever seen here. it ( ... )
