Yesterday, for the first time, i missed America, or maybe Canada. More specifically I missed the feeling of being cold, and i missed having no agenda, staying out late with kids and loving it. I also missed people jumping over puddles everywhere you looked. I loved the jumping people ( Read more... )

You can jump over puddles when it's winter here.... if we get any rain that is.

Being sleepy is much better than being tired. Being tired connotes being exhausted and worn out, but being sleepy is that comfortable and relaxing feeling you have when you're in bed the moment just before you actually go to sleep.

you should see them in montreal, they jump, all of them! it is my favourite thing about canada. You can usually step over a puddle but you can't step over half a meter of sludge. oh man. i'm sure you'd love it. I wanted to sit and watch them jump all day.

I just had a nap. there is almost nothing i like more than reading until i fall asleep.

I'll have to go to canada and see for myself sometime in the future.

That's a great way to fall asleep as you just slowly doze off and get to the point where you can't read anymore cause it's not going in. I'll have to try that tonight.

I wish it would rain here so that gumboots were a neccessity. And so that people wore gumboots so much that you could buy special gumboots with special prints on them. *sigh*
Maybe at Al's party, we could have a jumping over puddles game? I wonder if she has planned party games?

We should play that game where you get sticks and then have to jump in between every stick. You know? so there are five sticks and you can't touch them and you have to step between them and then at the end jump as far as you can and you take one of the other sticks from the middle???

am i just confusing you?

and Jeremy would not let me buy printed gumboots. He had the double ammunition of 1. it is never rainy enough and 2. how will you get them home!?

I can make a puddle for you to jump over!
Yes I agree also on the Sleep/Tired topic. Sleepy is a content kind of tired. Right now, I am tired.
