The past couple of days have not been 100% great. The small (big??) things that have happened, and the fact that i have not been sleeping so great have driven me to this point: I'm happier and more optimistic about everything ( Read more... )

I totally understand what you mean by "waiting for it to crash". I do that all the time with even simpler relationships. So annoying. It's why I think in my head sometimes that having a girlfriend would be improbable because I'd be constantly waiting for the crash and expecting the moment where she loses interest.
But, hopefully that's changeable.. I hope.

these things take time..

That's sad about the girl you met at work. It's times like that when I realise how my own anxieties and worries pale in comparison to people like her.

I'm sorry about your great aunt. Life is too fragile.

I was just really worried that she would not be able to take care of herself. She left her wallet and backpack in the cinema and left, we couldn't find her. i was soo scared that she would be taken advantage of. I'm still worried for her, even though I know she will be ok.

and I'm done waiting for it to crash. I really like Dave, and if it does crash I would rather have enjoyed the time we spent together rather than spend the time being nervous. You should try it sometime.

Sounds like a healthy philosophy to have. It reminds me of something from the social phobia class I went to last year where they talked about imagining the worst case scenario and asking yourself if it really would be the end of the world if it happened. Harder in practice than in theory, but .. I can see the logic.

I'm getting photos developed soon of me and boy! eeeeee! !!!!!

Keep safe, there are prayers flying at you too. soo much. That girl in the cinema freaked me out cos I couldn't take care of her. SO i may just have to take care of you instead!!!

Aww! hehe :]

Well then that's good!

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek! Totally seeing them!! Ahh how exciting, I want to see the boy!! He better be taking good care of you!!!

Aww, thankyou! Isn't that a horrible feeling when you know you can't take care of someone? But I think you just need to be trusting that God will take care of her, & realise that you couldn't do much more than talk to her. & that would have been an awesome privelage for her :]

much love,
xox

see, I sabatoged my one just to avoid that fear, you're one step ahead!

also: don't worry about this girl and the things she told you, they're not necessarily true. You might not realise that people find freaking you out to be fun.

Kerryn you are awesome, remember these words of wisdom: don't fret, miss kerryn. If you ever need insomnia talk, I am often awake at stupid hours. Maybe sms is good to alert and then I can call? Maybe also some hippy buddist words of wisdom might help, like "be content in the now"?
