My Grandmother's license plate is personalized with "LUVPANNA".

Her name is Anna, and she plays the "P-Anna".

She loves a good play-on-words. It delights her to no end that her name is right there in the name of the instrument she was born to play.

What a beautiful post... and I'm really sorry. I say, keep on humming, and she'll always be with you.

My dear friend,

Words cannot express how deeply sad I am for you. You probably know, though. This entry is a loving tribute to your Nana - and she must have been so proud of her lovely, talented, compassionate granddaughter. Your Nana survives in you.

Grieve openly, my friend. And if you need anything, I am here. I always am.

Love & hugs & sad, salty kisses,
J.

She sounds like a wonderful woman, and an incredible grandmother. I wish I had such a relationship with any of my grandparents, but I haven't. That example of a loving relationship between she and your grandfather is also invaluable to the people who were lucky enough to witness it.

What a beautiful post.

Beautiful because of how you wrote it.

Beautiful because of how beautiful a soul your Nana was.

Beautiful because her life and your description of it shows a sweet light of grace to warm even us strangers who never knew her.

My best wishes to you, your family, especially your Granddad Ray.
