Argh! LJ keeps messing with my icons! If you're seeing a wildly inappropriate Alice/fireworks icon with my comments on posts, it's not because I'm gloating or making fun of you... I keep trying to change them and it isn't working! Sorry. :(

I have the same issue. My Alphonse Mucha icon keeps popping up when I try to change from my usual "une souris" and won't change when I edit comments.

Glad to hear it's not just me... since it's "A" icons for both of us, it sounds like maybe the issue involves defaulting to the icon that comes first alphabetically.
