I'm always surprised by how many portions I come across in that prayerbook that really speak to me -- I don't particularly care for how my congregation runs the High Holiday services, but every year I find at least one text in the book that I feel compelled to make note of. Glad you liked this one!

(I can't remember -- are you affiliated with a local congregation? Do you want/need a ticket for Yom Kippur services? KI does a gorgeous Kol Nidre with a guest cellist...)

I'm affiliated with Beth Sholom and have tickets and plans there, but that sounds beautiful. Maybe I'll come by to KI someday soon that isn't a major holiday! :)

I love The Gates of Repentance - its the machzor that I grew up with and it makes me feel like all is right with the world. I haven't used it in years, but I still find it very moving.
