I just sent my story idea for the anthology that I hope to be a part of. It's a big opportunity and could be my first chance to be published. Hope they like what I submitted, thats the bad part because if its not what the powers that be are looking for then it's all for nothing. Wish me luck

Don't do the stuffing envelopes thing! I've read so many articles about this scam. You should NEVER EVER have to pay a "registration fee" for something like that if it's legit. This is a scam where they take your $40 and you never see a dime of any profit. If you Google "envelope stuffing scam" you can find tons of info about it.

Thanks for the info, you really saved me! I almost sent the check this morning but I still had a bit of a bad feeling about it and decided to at least wait and see if anyone responded after I asked. So I'm really glad you did.
I did the google that you suggested and your right, there's a lot about it and along with your words is enough to convince me that its a scam.
I should have known better in the first place. I mean think about, if you could get so rich sitting at home and stuffing envelopes everyone would be doing it!
