Suite Living... 2013 Edition

So...  Midwest Furfest, 2013.  Wow.  Let's step back seven years, shall we?  We had a suite at Anthrocon and we were REALLY excited.  Our parties had outgrown the standard hotel room footprint and we needed more space to relax and reconnect with friends.  So, as we settled in on Thursday night, of course, there was a party.  And it was, AWESOME.

Even though I have never had a room party, there have been some pretty chaotic house parties in the past that have cost us a bit of time to clean up so I can understand your post. I think beyond a smiling face is some maturity and respect towards anyone throwing a party. Be polite and be thankful for the invite and free booze.

As someone who has had large room parties, I totally get this. And you should not feel awkward by limiting the guest list to friends!

As someone who has had the pleasure of getting into your past three parties(and hope I'm welcome in your next one) I totally get how hard you work to keep your parties as great as they are. I usually have a small party in my room and know if you don't limit things it's just a few bad eggs from becoming something dreadful. Your parties are like 5x bigger than mine and you somehow keep it great.

I remember overhearing some guys last time saying that you guys went through over $500 of alcohol in less than an hour. Parties this awesome don't magically appear out of thin air. I hope more people contribute to your badass party this year, because your parties are legendary.
