I had a rather eventful weekend. Drove up to Atlanta to pick up Angie, aka pinkfaeriestars, from the airport after flying in from Missouri and hung out all weekend. Went and saw a couple of movies, Brick was really good and Lucky Number Slevin was... not as good. Angie was great, I don't think I could ask for a better person for me, she offsets me perfectly

This post made my night for some reason. Probably because I'm still one of a few people who still believes that love can triumph over all obstacles, color (in my case) or distance (in your case). Congrats, dude.

And agreed about Underground Atlanta. That place is pretty ghetto now. They did have some cool booths though. And now I'm gonna go watch Boyz N The Hood because I've been on a really bad urban aka "hood" movie kick.

Underground Atlanta was a massive disappointment, I remember it being much cooler but now it's turned into Africa Town.

I'd never been there before this summer when they had the free Garbage concert, and I was appalled when I went. It's dirty, the food's bad (I had the nastiest sandwich ever, and it was ridiculously expensive).

I kept hearing how cool it was, but I must say I was highly unimpressed.

It looked like a freakin' ghetto.
