Man, sun poisoning is no joke. Sunday when I was driving to and from my grandmother's I got a sunburn on my left arm from hanging my arm out the window. It was pretty bad but I've had sunburns before so I didn't give it a lot of thought. Monday I got to work and was feeling pretty tired for having slept a good 8 hours the night before, but I'm a ( Read more... )

Feel better Chris, that sounds incredibly sucky. Although I'm slightly jealous that you're somewhere warm enough to get sunburnt.

Eeek. You must be puking up gastric fluids. If you keep on puking you better get yourself to the doctor pretty soon because your esophagus along with other parts of your insides could be damaged.

Please feel better.

i've had sun poisoning too.. it's bad.. really bad.. except i broke out into something like chicken pox-type blisters...so.. yeah. it's a miserable feeling.

i agree you SHOULD go to the doctor. any sunburn increases your risk for melanoma so if for anything, you should make sure it hasn't adversely affected your skin.

as far as what you can do before the doctor: drink fluids. lots and lots of fluids. you may throw them back up, but better to throw up the water than stomach acid. if you can, slather the burn area in aloe. But yea..i think you should go to the doctor.

I hope you start feeling better soon. =)

Ehhh, that's why I try to stay away from the sun. Though everytime I go to any outdoor festival, I'm never the one passing out from heat exhaustion or dehydration.

Anyhoo, that's one of the best songs ever! It's become a sick, sad little joke around my work. We have to try to convert regular donors to try our automated procedures and blahblahblah, it's boring, really, but to get the tech to set up the machine we say "I have a double/2RBC" Instead of that we sing "Put the lotion in the baaaaaAASKET!"
