How Long Is Gone?
On June 15 I asked the question, how long is gone? At that time I was telling you in that post that my friend went off to jail. Well now I pose the same question to you again how long is gone? The only thing I can tell you so far is my friends court date was Tuesday and she went back to jail no thanks to her family and that makes me hope some time they get into trouble with the law and nobody will post their bail money, but that's a long story . I admit my friend needs help, because even the day before she was to go to court she was drinking vodka, and she was to be in court because her drinking. That is what started this all in the first place. Here in Evansville IN. Vanderburgh county our jail is full, and she may not even have a bed to sleep on or might get sent to another counties jail. The judge revoked her bail thanks to a vindictive daughter who went to the prosecutor and told him that she had been driving drunk all because she hates her mom for the way her mom raised her (from what I can tell)anyway my friend will be there till Friday and is to be evaluated but a court appointed treatment plan co-coordinator unless she can get placed in Stepping Stone which is a drug and alcohol treatment center here. So how long is long? I again am asking, well I know till Friday unless she is placed in the treatment program which last 30 days or more and I am still keeping her dog for her and watching her apartment so I do pray and hope that 30 days is all that it last. and that she will make it work out in that amount of time I remember that Joeguppy was observing that time can really fly the older you get, in one of his entries, and I have found that to be true. I ask my mom about her view of how time flies about a year or so ago and she admitted to me it only goes by faster and faster the older you get! My mom is in her 70's. So thank goodness this won’t last too long then but my friend has been good to me and so I should return the favor to her also! and have patients and wait it out
