I'm a bit late with this; I actually typed it up about a month ago (so excuse any inconsistencies and the fact that some of it might be in the wrong tense; I'm not going to edit it), but kinda never got round to posting it. >_> I will now though, if only so I can remember the year a little better in the future. Without further ado:

1) Was 2005 a good year for you?
Yeah, I would say so. It's been a fairly calm year, compared to the ups and downs of 2004 (although I consider that a good year overall too, certainly)... but quite consistently enjoyable.

2) What was your favorite moment of the year?
Probably the Dir en Grey concert, or the whole Paris trip in general depending how specific you want it. :) There have been other great moments too though, such as my birthday and the memorable events there, and the Dudley Zoo + Madagascar day was very good too.

3) What was your least favorite moment of the year?
It's difficult, because nothing hugely bad has happened - it's just that roughly two-thirds of the year have had constant, nagging worries/problems. The first 5 months or so I was hugely worried about my final year project... that was quite a horrible to have over you for such a long time. The last few months I've had money worries and felt pressure to get a job, although I'll be leaving it til January now. But I'll guess that the worst moment was whenever my FYP seemed most hopeless. >_> Oh, and when Safeway closed. :( And when I found out Beak-- Beatties was closing. :( :( I hate things closing. :/

4) Where were you when 2005 began?
At home with Jane, drinking Vanilla Coke. :D We were in the city centre half an hour earlier, intending to stay at the Millenium Point celebrations, but in the end neither of us felt that much like it and so we came home. :) So it was quiet, but I liked it anyway.

5) Who were you with?
Jane.

6) Where will you be when 2005 ends?
I don't really know, and don't want to think about it yet... >_> I will probably be either (a) at home, (b) in the city centre or (c) at my parents'.

7) Who will you be with when 2005 ends?
Jane... not sure who else, if anyone.

8) Did you keep your new years resolution of 2005?
No... :( I tried a new exotic fruit every month for about the first 5 months, but then we stopped. ;_;

9) Do you have a new years resolution for 2006?
No, I can't think of any that aren't depressing.

10) Did you fall in love in 2005?
Well, I've been in love throughout 2005. ^_^

11) If yes, with who?
Jane, of course.

12) If yes, do they know?
Yeah, I think so. >_>

13) Are you still in love with them?
Most certainly.

14) Do you regret it?
Nope.

15) Did you breakup with anyone in 2005?
Nay.

16) Did you make any new friends in 2005?
Not really... I became closer friends with Nimesh in the first half of the year but I was already friends with him to some extent; and I got to slightly know a few other people (Mary and Whatshername) in that group of people, but I wouldn't really call them friends.

17) Who are your favorite new friends?
Er, see above.

18) What was your favorite month of 2005?
July, as usual. It's the perfect month in every way... only the two surrounding months can rival it, but I can't remember much of June and August wasn't as good as last year. July was really good though.

19) Did you travel outside of the UK in 2005?
I went to Paris. :)

20) How many different states did you travel to in 2005?
If I say 'counties' instead, then I've been to... West Midlands, Staffordshire, Shopshire, Yorkshire, East Lothian, Whatever County Glasgow Is In, Warwickshire, Cornwall, London, Some County in South Wales, Herefordshire (briefly)... I think that's all, but I might be forgetting some.

21) Did you lose anybody close to you in 2005?
Nah.

22) Did you miss anybody in the past year?
Not really, although I've missed hanging around with Peter at university a little. I know I could go to his house now (which I've only done twice since I graduated), but it isn't the same. :/

23) What was your favorite movie that you saw in 2005?
Ooh. Wait, what movies have I seen? Madagascar, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Howl's Moving Castle, Wallace & Grommit... I think that's it. I couldn't choose a best, they're all fairly equal. :) [Edit - add Goblet of Fire, March of the Penguins, Narnia and King Kong to the list too. I still can't choose a best, though.]

24) What was your favorite song from 2005?
Hmm... including Japanese releases, probably Stance Punks - No Boy No Cry.

25) What was your favorite record from 2005?
Franz Ferdinand - You Could Have It So Much Better

26) How many concerts did you see in 2005?
Two I believe... Bright Eyes and Reel Big Fish.

27) Did you have a favorite concert in 2005?
Nah, both were good, in quite different ways obviously. >_> Not the very best I've ever been too, since Bright Eyes played mostly new stuff and the Academy for RBF wasn't a very good venue... but both were still enjoyable. :)

28) did you drink a lot of alcohol in 2005?
Nah... not sure if I've even had any. I certainly can't remember doing so.

29) did you do a lot of drugs in 2005?
No... unless you count caffeine.

30) How many people did you sleep with in 2005?
One, of course. ^^

31) Did you do anything you are ashamed of this year?
Not that I can remember.

32) What was the biggest lie you told in 2005?
Er... if I told any lies, I've probably consigned them to some part of my mind which is now inaccessible. >_>

33) What was the worst lie someone told you?
I'm not aware of any lie I've been told, as far as I can remember.

34) Did you treat somebody badly in 2005?
Not especially... I haven't been very dedicated to seeing my friends, but that's been the case for the past 10 years or something. :P

35) Did somebody treat you badly in 2005?
No, not really.

36) How much money did you spend in 2005?
Let's see...
....I'd guess at £6000. Well over half of it was rent and bills though.

37) What was your proudest moment of 2005?
Graduating university, with a 2:1 degree. (It's still disappointing that it wasn't a 1st, though.)

38) What was your most embarrassing moment of 2005?
No idea. >_>

39) If you could go back in time to any moment of 2005 and change something, what would it be?
Hmmm... I think I would've tried to get a job in September. Then again, it would've caused inconvenience around the Christmas period... x_X

40) What are your plans for 2006?
Get a job and earn a decent amount of money so I can save plenty for the following year... and not let said job get me down too much. Other than that, just try to enjoy the year, and help support Jane with her college stuffs. :) No more detailed plans than that at the moment.

Ya, that was the year that was. Now it's 2006... I'm not that bothered really, I just want it to be Summer. >_>
