I just don't get why it's so hard to realize that when a bill is due, you pay it by the due date

I blame society, really.
And credit cards...because everyone knows it's not *real* money...
And bailouts...now everyone thinks they get a free lunch or something.

Thanks! This person worked in collections before so I thought maybe she'd get it. Don't pay the bills, get sent to collections. Instead, she totally messed it right on up.

We have a new position we're hiring for, as well, so I get to conduct twice the level of interviews. It's going to be a blast, I'm sure :/

The DH has two people on his team that proudly talk about how they only pay their utility bills every other month. No wonder it's the Spanish inquisition when you try to get utilities turned on around here. I had service at my house with a perfect payment record for 6 years, moved to a rental for a year and the same utility companies were demanding I come down in person with IDs and proof of a banking account/credit.

(Those employees also are the worst producers on his team and each has bought new carS/houses but complain to him that they can't pay their bills. They're in sales so: work harder = get more money. And you know they're talking about how 3 weeks of vacation wasn't enough.)

Jesus. Really? Who does that?! The utility companies report to the credit agencies, right? Who does that?!

And yeah, I had to go through all these hoops AND provide a giant deposit to get my utilities turned on. Probably because of assholes like the above.

Of course they're the worst producers because they really just don't give two shits about anything other than looking good. They clearly don't think about needing electricity or whatever. Selfish dicks.

Three weeks of vacation isn't enough... we should all get 51 weeks of vacation. I'll work five random days in the year to earn that vacation...

Shame my parents just left AZ, I'd have suggested Mom apply. She's good at stuff like that, even if its not all on her resume. Ah well.
