I haven't given this very much thought, but why, when a screen is 'widescreen' do they make it smaller vertically?
It just seems sort of backwards, why make the picture smaller?

I don't know, maybe I'm missing the point.

ahhh i hate that hahahaha it drives me crazy. i told my parents not to buy a widescreen tv, but they always do the opposite of what i say. oh well.

i agree. and they change all the time. i never know what to expect!
