I was reading about this earlier. I just can't bloody wait. I'm sorry all of the world's governments have dropped the ball, but i welcome our new Google overlords and their moon-exploring ways!

Ok../snark. I do think this is great. I'm only sad that affordable commercial flights to the moon won't happen until i'm too old to enjoy them.

Yeah, but you can book a flight on Virgin Galactic now, flights to be commencing in 2009. I expect if the first 10 years of that go well, Branson will start expanding Virgin Galactic to actually GO places, instead of just a very expensive carnival ride. Just imagine going suborbital from New York to London.....

Let's do it! We'll need venture capitol, someone who can build a rover and a rocket, experts in rocketry and space travel. I'm sure I am forgetting something.
