Valentine's day. Some people call it a hallmark holiday, some say it's the best day of the year. Personally, I like it. Personally I feel that some people, in their own diluted little outrage against bad experiences turn the holiday into a wrathful, mocking symbol of vengeance and they choose to strike out in a personal clame against the day.

#1. That being the case, then to conform is actually to be different than all the self-visualized "unique trend setters" out there (the millions I'm sure there are).

I love you for that. you basically verballized my thoughts for me. I hate when people don't do something just because other people do it.

#2. I agree about Valentine's Day. I actually like it. even if you don't have a "Valentine" it's a nice holiday. like you said, it's more about the idea behind it than the gifts and material things.

So...yeah. that's all I really have to say.

yeah, but i dont like it because its been turned into a holiday thats about material things and only material things, thats why i hate it.

theres nothing wrong with loving some1 or telling them that, but thats why you have an anniversary, or you stop and think for yourself, hey, its been awhile, its time to do something special, and you do something special that saturday or something.

but, since these are John's beleifs, ill just say, good for you, and i hope you enjoy your holiday!
