Why, Jesus? Why?

Today, we evicted a lady who hasn't paid her rent in two months. In the two months of non-payment, we received every excuse short of "my dog ate it" as to why she could not pay. Monday, the constable was scheduled to lock her out. She gave yet another excuse & said she would have the rent Tuesday. We bought it (because we are stupid.) Tuesday

I'm pretty sure the idea was that by bringing god into the argument they would scare you, rationality doesn't work for everyone

i had a woman tell me at kfc not too long ago that "the good lord" is/was going to "strike me down". this was because she claimed that she could only eat drumsticks because of her arthritis and apparently it was my fault that the special came with other pieces too. she asked if she needed a doctors excuse. she was crazy and stuck her tongue out at me when i told her i couldnt change it and told her that maybe a fork would help. i wanted to shove it into her crooked fingers.

why are people so crazy and old? and im pretty sure jesus doesnt hate us, he probably thinks we're funny people.
