HOT DAAAAMN! i've been exposed to the hottest music genre. country music is so daaym hot. all thanx goes to kath who kindly supplied me with like 20 songs. :] i finally found some soothing music that i can listen to while doing hw/studying. before i had trouble, since i can't really concentrate with gc/nfg/sp jamming in my ear. but now, it's all ( Read more... )

trust me, i have been there. there is NOTHING TO DO. it is a freaking high school.

as for country music...try phish. they do hilarious country covers of hit songs from other genres (like Snoop Doggy Dogg's "Gin and Juice") and a lot of their original stuff is pretty neat too. also look for a song called "if you're gonna play in texas (you gotta have a fiddle in the band)" by alabama--i can't stand that song, but everyone i know who listens to country loves it to death, and it gets played on the radio here a lot. (note that there is no fiddle in the song until the end.)
