dont get me wrong i will support her so hard if she gets to nomination... but i was think of it this way Billary came to my school not Bill... he was there campaigning for her and the speech was about her. and was proud of my friends craftman ship making this sign. and if bill did help her with all this is she wins i would be happy cause the 90 were good.
But most of the US sees Hillary as Billary. Or maybe that's just me being from Utah and thinking that Utah represents the US... but I've heard of people around here in NJ and PA saying stuff like, "Bill will help Hillary so much when she wins."
So, for me, the sign is making fun of those people who think that Billary is one unit. I don't know if that's what was intended though.
Sorry Cami, we're over analytical. I wouldn't have it any other way, though...
"But I don't think it's fair that everyone keeps making it as if Hillary isn't her own person. It's sexist. Maybe she has a husband in politics, a former president even, but it's not fair to assume that he is going to have enough control over her that she will become "Billary" when she's in office."
Should Hillary Clinton succeed and become President, she will not be realizing a feminist dream but rather providing a case example for anti-feminism.
The lesson of Hillary Clinton as President will not be that a woman can do anything. Instead, it will be that in order for a woman to succeed, she must live in the shadow of her husband, suffer public humiliation at the hands of said husband, become a carpet bagger, cry on the eve of the New Hampshire primary, and continue in a quixotic and destructive scorched earth campaign when it's obvious that the electorate and numbers are against her.
A woman can surely be President, unfortunately, it can't be Hillary Clinton.
