Paris
so as it turns out Kate and I are wonderful travel buddies. Paris recap day by day
Day 1
So I started my trip with Museum D'Orsay. Has to be my most favorite museum in the world. I love the building the art inside... the MONETS and Degas and ohhhhh all that fabulous art. We spent a few hours there and kate obviously was getting too much art, so we went and walked down champs-elysse to the Arc de Triumphe. We then climb to the top of the Arc de Triumphe and have a great view of the city. We followed that up by doing our designers in paris shopping. She got a Longchamp bag and I a Fred Perry Bag. We attemted to find the latin quarter for dinner with not luck.
Day 2
We started the day with the Louve, Truthfully we didnt spend too much time there but thats ok. we saw plenty of amazing thing such as Victory, Venus of Milo, and the Mona Lisa. We then caught the subway to Roland Garros, the tennis staduim. We go a tour and went to the tenniseum. it was cool. We ended day one by drinking hot chocolate at the Effiel Tower. The w sucessfully found the latin quarter and ate some awesome greek food. it was nice to eat something that wasnt italian. we then checked out the night life in that area and our drinks came with sparklers in them!
Day 3
Versailles. By far one of the coolest place I've ever been. I dont even know what to say it was massive elaborate the garden if probally the size or Rhode Island. I ask a guard if the Jeff Koon was still there and he said "No, Versailles is pretty again" ouch. Then we ate the best crepes Ive ever had. The we caught the train back to Paris and did a boat tour. it was super cute and fun. we attempted to find Ratotulli for dinner... but gave up
Day 4
The day of climbing. We climbed up to Sacre Cour and Climb Notre Dame and took the elevator up the Effiel Tour (no more climbing). Great view everywhere and very cool places. We ended our day by eating baguette and brie under the tower. The began our journey home, which btw Ryanair is a halarious airline they dont have assigned seating so everyone run for the plane. Halarious. oh and Paris Beauvais Airport and hour and 20 minutes out side Paris by bus soooo travel times went as followed: 1 hr 20 m to Paris Beauvais, 1 hr 45 m flight, 1 hr 10 m bus from Pisa to Florence. sigh.
So I lied about it being 4 days... this past week Terence and Alex came to visit on separate occasion. and I got a hair cut yesterday
