Ah, another cryptic entry, and of course my jaw is hurting again. I'm hoping my "bad things come in threes" third thing can be that I dropped a headband into the toilet this morning. Or maybe that I overslept for work. Please let that be it.

I had a fantastic weekend! Too much to write about, at least now while I'm at work (supposedly working...) so I will just provide a short list. Maybe I'll give some more details later. Especially about my "date." Ha ha!

I feel like Phoebe, in that episode with the smoke detector in the hall. Mine seems to be randomly emitting two beeps, but every time I stop and listen, or go look at it, it shuts up. I've been staying pretty busy lately. When people ask how I'm doing, my standard answer is some variation of the 'good but busy' theme. Sometimes I say, "Busy, but in a good way, not the ripping your hair out going crazy kind of way." I'm not rambling on Monday about how I frittered away my weekend. At least, not ALL of it! Other than spot washing a comforter and hand washing some socks (don't ask), and dropping off some dry cleaning, I didn't do any laundry. Because I'm putting off work...
As part of my lunch today, I hate 1/2 an underripe orange and 3/4 of a giant Safeway M&M cookie. If I were health-conscious, or calorie-conscious, or, you know, like NOT addicted to chocolate, those fractions would be reversed. But they're not. And let me check....yep, I don't feel guilty at all.

Surprise!
I've had two mildly interesting occurences lately. First, I bought a bag of tulip bulbs last fall. I planted them, watered them, and lovingly tended to them. I even made sure when I was on vacation that my dog sitters also watered them. I was soooo excited this spring when they began to sprout! Surprise! It's Monday and once again I did virtually nothing with my weekend! I went to see Kimber's show on Saturday, and made a brief pit-stop at Target. I did one load of laundry and emptied the dishwasher. That's about it. I ran 3 miles on Saturday and took Cady to the park once. LAME!!! So except for one stupid form with a twenty dollar income, my taxes would be done right now. I was sorely tempted to ignore it, because I didn't understand it, but that would obviously be the wrong thing to do. And probably invite an audit or something. Which I of course do not want.
