Oh my, this is quite delicious and I don't even like this pairing. I think you captured the humor of the series and then weaved it through this. Gintoki's reactions made me laugh, and this line made me think about Yamamoto and Shinpachi because I'm shameless like that: "No! No, no - Shinpachi doesn't swing that way," said Gintoki, adding ...at least, I don't think so, to himself in the privacy of his head.
