I can't help but wonder how the Vairons fit into I2's absurd, overly convoluted Duel Terminal lore.

I'd like to make an offer - I'm a student at the Duel College, of some skill. If anyone is being harassed by Duel Gangs in their area, I can do my best to make sure they disperse.

I know how!

Trishula killed off the entire planet that DT1-8 occured on.

DT9 is a whole new planet.

The Gemknight's live underground, and the Laval are a landroaming tribe that destroy everything. They're constantly at war. the Gemknight's only care about defending themselves, and easily rebuff the clumsy, poorly planned assaults of the Laval. But the Laval never stop attacking, so it's an endless war.

The Vairon descend from the heavens to try and put an end to the endless conflict.

Peacekeepers, hm?

How fitting.

Or they could be like Christopher Walken in that movie Prophecy, I wasn't supposed to watch!

"Reboot world. Gods that decided they didn't want the Barbarian Lavals and the Honorable Gems, whose differing styles resulted in an unending stalemate war that lasted forever, to fight anymore. So they dropped in and joined the fight."

's what I2's websites say.

I see.

I'd almost think that were decent structure, if it weren't almost definitely going to become an incomprehensible cluster of nonsense at the release of the tenth Terminal.

Of course, a 4th party's gonna join da fight and well, gonna turn into the ol' Duel Terminal that way.

I also think the Vairon are less peacekeepers, and more angry old men going "Knock that shit off, you punk kids", and start tryin' to kill 'em all.

...Are you dying or something?

Normally you seem to take far less of a..reactive.. approach to stuff like this.

...your first assumption is that I'm dying?
