As a teacher, it's amazing how often you not only forget but are reminded that the words of a child 15 years younger than you can still hurt your feelings

Hey, its Renn. I definitely know what you mean. One of my closest junior high girls didn't talk to me for 3 weeks. It was horrible. It was so hard to love her and try to take care of her, when 1) what they are doing hurts and 2) when the natural response is to get mad at them for being a dork. I basically just treated her like normal and didn't let her know that her attempt to make me feel bad was working and eventually she just stopped. Hope it gets better soon...
