so as all cashiers know, we meet some really creepy people.

mean ones, nices ones, scary ones, grumpy ones, funny ones, and the list goes on.

but it's the creepy/scary ones that get me.

i've got this guy who comes in the store every truck day (the day our delivery of new stock comes in) and says to me "you're not going home tonight."

Did you try talking to him? I know this might sound weird but maybe if you told him that this wasn't really funny, and what exactly was he trying to do by saying that, maybe he would either stop or change?
I've never been in your situation, so I not here to say I have the answer, but I think that's what I would do.

I hope this get better quickly and that you'll come back and tell us that he finally didn't come back, or better became super nice!!

thanks for your well wishes! it seems to have worked, he didn't come in today :) so i'm super happy about that.

but if he does i will definitely make sure to try the "sir, i don't find your remarks and attitude funny" approach.

it seems like he's stopped coming so far, from the past days i've been at work he hasn't come in so that's a good sign! or at the very least he wont be creepy if he does come in~
