...Colouring for money!

In what can only be described as "a bit of a surprise" I was e-mailed by someone saying they really like my work and whether I would consider doing commissions. I considered and yes I would! Kudos to you mate!

I'm sure many writers make it through the back door as colourists(Thats annoying! LJ's new spell checker is American all the way. No U!), inkers, artists etc... Keep knocking on that door!

And, hey, colouring giant, transforming robots is always cool, Right?

Thanks mate! One of my favourite writers (who also ran his own company) did colouring to make money first.

I offered a very low figure to do both the pievces he wanted done but he actually revised my offer up! I'm sure that's not how bartering works...

My only problem is finding the time to fit this in. I'd never considered offering commissions before but I wouldn't have the time anyway. But if I don't make the time I'd never be able to make money from it which would in turn allow me to work less days and spend more days doing creative things. What an exciting catch 22... I think I'll have to think about it a bit more when I've got the first year of my PGDip out the way. I'm electing to do a coursework only route next year as that should take up less of my time.
