(no subject)
so. exciting.
so this was the bay where the ymca camp was (it was up a small hill, but essentially right on the bay) it was so so so so beautiful.
this was right at the end of the bay... i thought the tree was kickass.
these birds were EVERYWHERE. they aren't flightless but tend to just walk around on the ground. they call them blue rabbits because they breed like rabbits and are just as big of a pest.
this is the view from the look out on our hike.
this is part of the marae. this is the building we slept in... it was so amazing because there were pictures covering the walls (we weren't allowed to take pictures inside) but the pictures were of people who had died and they went so so so far back in history.
this is another part of the marae... and my buddy matt.
these are the guys in our group being overly masculine. they were doing some sort of change and it was so awesome. and hilarious.
i've moved into my flat but the pictures are pretty dull. i'll try to take better ones and put them up sometime soon. but whatever. i have a double bed. which is nice. and there are a couple people from our group living right around me as well as this guy who goes to williams living right next door.
