If you haven't seen it already, then I strongly suggest viewing Stranger Than Fiction. It made me laugh, cry, and laugh some more. Dustin Hoffman, Emma Thompson, Will Ferrell, and Maggie Gyllanhaal are fabulous in a cast together

No, of course I don't know what your standards are. I never suggested that I did. I can deduce from your opinion that your idea of a great movie is not the same as my own. I'm entitled to that opinion. You sound a little defensive in your posts. Have I touched a sore spot? Do you need a hug?

All the characters had beautiful vocabularies, and there were whole scenes full of literary theory witticisms. Oh, it was glorious!
Also, I think I've discovered a unashamedly superficial lust-based crush on Maggie Gyllenhaal.

Hopefully I'll get round to seeing it before it hits DVD, but I'm not holding my breath. I hardly ever go to the movies anymore.
