CHALLENGE #9 - Train
Yup, I totally just made this up on the spot. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't inspired by the latest challenge over at travel_icontest and Andrei Makine's book "A Life's Music" which is lying in front of me.
Your challenge this week is to write 80-150 words using the prompt "train". Some ideas to get you started;
- A train journey; lots of things can happen on them from meeting the love of your life to getting robbed and other unpleasant things.
- Fanfiction for the book "A Life's Music" or any other book/TV show/movie that involves trains, what about The Railway Children, eh?
- Suicide fic about jumping infront of a train for the more morbid among you...
- An action/adventure fic with the hero having to save a train full of people or something.
- Deserted railway tracks overgrown with grass and flowers, very poetic!
- Doesn't have to be about trains as such, you could use the verb 'train' or any other use of 'train' that you can think of! Thanks to duckbunny for this idea.
- Simply include the word 'train'.
Fanfiction is allowed. Up to 2 entries can be submitted as a screened comment to this post.
