Title: Rightfully Yours
Pairing: SeHun / LuHan
Rating: PG

The sky was a lonely shade of gray, where longing and solitude trailed its tender fingers across icy skin, and left the heart shivering for warmth. As the translated text of 1Q84 balanced neatly on the edge of his desk, long forgotten, SeHun paced the length of his room. Agitation sat heavily on his shoulders, and a clawing itch urged him to move.

But where?

Looking to the empty bed that sat parallel to his own, a subtle feeling of desperation rippled throughout his core. It was a color of blue, of regret, that etched itself to his vision while that expanding void engulfed his spirit. Gaze flitting away from the untouched bed sheets, SeHun curls and uncurls his hands, ultimately shoving them into his pockets before turning abruptly on his heels, heading for the door.

He needed air.

Brushing past Baekhyun and Chanyeol, who were quietly whispering to each other over the kitchen counter, SeHun watches their fail attempts of secrecy. Their subtle touches, the hinted meanings, the flickering stares; the youngin snorts as he grabs for his shoes, not even a gaze is spared his way as the metal door swings open and shut.

JoonMyun's rooming with YiXing tonight, SeHun muses, remembering the elder boys flushed cheeks when hearing about the Chinese man's return. Everyone, SeHun noted, had a companion, be it friendship or more. Jongin had Kyungsoo, who he confided in on everything, and vice versa. Kris had Tao, or Tao had Kris, SeHun wasn't certain, but they understood each other to the most subtle movements and faintest words. Baekhyun and Chanyeol kept each other at an arms distance, but left traces of longing and desire in their wake. While in comparison, Jongdae and Minseok maintained a platonic attraction, leaning against one another for support when they couldn't rely on anyone else.

And then, there was himself. And LuHan...

Shivering, SeHun feels the dusty chill of the stairwell. Reaching the doorway that lead to the roof, the pit of his stomach tingling as his fingers wrap around the doorknob. Body tensing with sudden anxiety, his licks his lips as a nostalgic sensation floods his emotions.

It was possible, he thinks, that what he was looking for was just beyond this metal frame.

He swallows. And sighs.

And pushes open the door.

The sky was now a mean gray, that impending storm pouring its heavy raindrops onto the cement walls of the roof. SeHun has always been the one who trusts his instincts, and most of the time, if not always, they were right. So as he stood, arms crossed as his thin shirt gave little to no protection from the rain, he watches wordlessly as a certain male stands immobile under the showers. His face was tilted towards the sky, eyes closed in a peaceful dream, as his hair and clothes stuck to him like second skin.

A faint sigh reaches SeHun's ears, and that was enough for the young boy to move from under the protection of the doorway, and into the grief-stricken sky. By the time he reaches the lonesome man, raindrops blinded his vision as his clothes outlined his body to the ribs.

"You're going to get sick," SeHun hears, the parted lips moving slowly to enunciate each word. The eyes were still closed, but the fair skinned male didn't have to see to know that it was SeHun. The warmth that radiated from the boy was unmistakable.

"You're the one to talk," SeHun retorts lightly, blinking away the rain. He ignores the shiver that seized his spine, and focuses on the ache that engulfed him in heated flames. "Let's go inside, LuHan," he whispers, hesitantly reaching over to wrap slim fingers around a thin, cold wrist. With the slightest movement, LuHan was free to shake off SeHun's touch; the choice was given to him.

"It's nice out though," LuHan sighs, stomach churning from the sudden warmth. His eyelids flutter as he slowly opens them against the heavy rain. "Isn't this refreshing?" He brings his palm towards the sky, letting the water momentarily collect in a pool before it slides away. A pregnant silence fills the air, white noise cancelling out the shush of raindrops.

SeHun frowns. No matter how detached LuHan tried to act, like a mirror, his eyes reflected his emotions. And right then, SeHun could see the broken shards and cracks the older boy desperately tried to hide.

Which meant that it was his job to pick up those broken remains, and fit them together again.

"Gege," SeHun murmurs, his grip tightening around LuHan's wrist as his other hand gently caresses the colorless cheek. His voice catches in his throat, and he clears it before continuing. "Am I not strong enough for you to lean on?"

LuHan bites his bottom lip, but slowly shakes his head in quiet disagreement.

"Then just come to me when you want to cry, instead of getting yourself sick like this." Sliding his hand down, SeHun places his fingers between the curve of LuHan's hand in a mismatched fit. Forgoing the constricted tightness in his chest, SeHun tugs on their entwined fingers and sighs as they stand face to face; nose to nose.

"I'm not crying," LuHan weakly argues, voice lost in the raging storm.

SeHun snorts, fighting the urge to roll his eyes. Leaning his forehead against LuHan's, he watches the wet lashes close and open, silently jolting when LuHan adds a gentle pressure to their hands. Clear raindrops slide one after the other down the porcelain skin; past the nose, across the cheek, the lips, the jaw, and down the flawless curve of the neck.

SeHun's breath hitches when LuHan flickers his gaze up, meeting his stare with endearing affection that has lost its shine. A stray droplet forms from the corners of LuHan's eyes, and something in SeHun breaks as he watches it fade slowly into the rain.

"If your heart hurts, come to me," SeHun whispers, warm breath ghosting over LuHan's lips, "I'll make it go away."

A bitter laugh tugs at SeHun's heartstrings, "and what if you're the one who caused it?"

The younger boy pauses, pulling back slowly. But then, he raises the intertwined fingers to kiss the back of LuHan's hand with parted lips. "All the more reasons to come to me," he says, snaking his other hand to comb back LuHan's wet hair. A tantalizing pull causes SeHun to inch closer and closer until their noses are brushing against each other in a devious caress. And soon, SeHun has LuHan's bottom lip captured between his; teeth nipping at the flesh as he feels LuHan react to his touch.

"You're so oblivious and dense and rude and sardonic," LuHan breathes, ripping his lips away from SeHun's sinful ones. He looks up to the younger boy with a wanton glaze, his body pushing forward and hands clutching a fistful of wet fabric. "But I still love you and I think I'm a fool for it."

SeHun's arms curl around LuHan's waist, clashing their lips together once more as he drinks in LuHan's groans. The contrast of the cool rain against their heated skin levelled the euphoria and desire in their bodies. Legs entwining as hands start roaming, SeHun finds himself lost in the sea of clementine and musk, realizing that this was what kept clawing at his mind.

"I never moved from where I was," SeHun breaks off, kissing LuHan's jaw affectionately. He brings a hand to caress the back of the soft neck, grinning as the older boy shudders at the touch, "you simply haven't moved to take what has always been rightfully yours."

As that twinkling gleam flickers back to life, SeHun smiles behind the rain, watching as LuHan blinks up at him in familiarity. They kiss again, soft and slow, but eventually leading off into a battle of supremacy and authority. Every touch, every stroke of skin against skin, were hinted messages underlined with coded emotions.

And when LuHan slips a calm finger under SeHun's wet shirt, gently following the curve of the hip bones in a teasing manner, he finally understands that it's not, "SeHun. And LuHan" but, "SeHun and LuHan."
