He closed the door behind him, knowing she was still standing there, watching his back. Waiting. They had met too many times now not to call this coincidence, he has looked at her too many times, brought her beautiful image home to haunt him in the night. She was calling him from behind that door. Even in silence she could get him to open up where everyone else had failed. He wanted to step out of his box and into hers.
He turned around to knock on her door and saw that Lady Heather was already waiting for him, standing in the doorway.
