She couldn’t believe they were finally alone together. All day long she had felt like a butterfly pinned on a glass display as the Petrelli's learned about this girl they had tried to forget.
Not Peter. He held her tight in his arms now, and everything felt miles away.
‘Claire, what did you do to me?’ he whispered in her ear, stealing a kiss before continuing. ‘I’ve never felt like this. It feels like I’ve been drugged.’
‘I think love just works that way.’ She whispered in his ear, wrapping her arms around his neck, kissing him again, head spinning.
