Cuddy sat in the room with House, her eyes constantly flickering between his closed eyes and the screen monitoring his vitals. Tears hung off the edge of her eyelashes, but she refused to let them cloud her vision.
Her beeper went off and she looked down, annoyed. When she saw it was Foreman, she stepped out and used the phone at the nurse’s station.
‘No, no change.’ She told him. ‘I promise to let you know as soon as I do. Thanks Foreman.’ She said and hung up.
Cuddy went back and sat down. ‘Please come back House.’ She whispered.
