Cuddy slowly swam up from the deep sleep she was engulfed in. She rubbed her eyes, shielding them from the unfamiliar light coming in. She opened them more fully and realized it was a bathroom light. But not her bathroom.
She turned around and realized that she was not alone. House was outlined in the dim light, tangled in bed sheets. The events of the night before washed over her and she closed her eyes. Last night in his blue haberdashi his eyes were electric and he was irresistible. But now, in the bathroom's glow, he was just another mistake and an excuse.
