I'm torn about The Big Bang Theory. It seems most people in the fandom absolutely hate Leonard, but I don't really have any strong feelings about him either way. This is probably helped by the fact that I don't really ship Penny/Sheldon, so I'm not influenced in that respect. I do see the chemistry between Penny and Sheldon, but I can't see it beyond friendship at this point. Sheldon is far too emotionally and sexually stunted for me to be able to picture him in a romantic relationship with anyone at this point. As you also said, he's one of the few male characters I love but who I would never want to be in a relationship with ( ... )

Oh, I should clarify, I guess! I think that Sheldon and Penny should never get together in a romantic sense while the show is going on, if Sheldon remains as he is -- I just want to squee at the sparks and chemistry they have, and how they're more closely matched than Leonard and Penny are. Even as friends, Penny seems to love Sheldon more than she does Leonard!

I think my "problem" with Leonard didn't start from the last episode, but from the season premiere, when he was more excited about Penny/having sex with Penny instead of trying to make up for his grave mistake with Sheldon (and I'm glad that Penny did that!). And so far, to me, besides this last episode, it's like the writers have been fixated with exploring their relationship only in the physical sense, and how much Leonard likes her because she's pretty, out of his league and yet would still have sex with him. Again, I'm probably viewing this out of rose-tinted shipper shades, but that's how I feel!

(Hee, matching icons! :D)

Rehearsal dinner.. rehearsal dinner.. argh, I can't remember what happened then. I hate how I'm already forgetting so much of last season! What made you think they did it after that? XD

And because WHY NOT?! :D He's freed of his duties, she's on the verge of deciding if she was going to leave him or stay, and now I can't stop staring at the gif because it's perfect.

HAHAHAHA I DIDN'T EVEN SEE THAT, ASDFLKLAFSD.

Oh my god, I watched it with my sister and she didn't even realize it until after the end and she was like, I don't get it with Lily and Marshall, and I gave her the ...... look. "Shut the bagpipes up!"

As I was telling smelltheflowers up there, it's like so far, to me, besides this last episode, the writers have been fixated with exploring their relationship only in the physical sense, and how much Leonard likes her because she's pretty, out of his league and yet would still have sex with him. I'm probably viewing this out of rose-tinted shipper shades, but that's how I feel! The whole douchebag thing arose from the premiere when he was more interested in getting it on with Penny instead of making up for his awful lying to Sheldon and causing his entire reputation to go up in flames, and only built up from there, haha.

and I still love Robin, despite how awful the writers have been writing her all of last season.
THANK YOU! I have been thinking that all along and no one seemed to agree with me up to now!
Though I have a completely different opinion than you on the rest. I'm glad they broke up. I found them so boring together. "Daddy's home." had me squee so hard. Anyway..,

I trust the chuck writers. We shall see, I might get really mad later on, but for now I trust them. They have never disappointed before.

I'm surprisingly not upset that they broke up, more so that they did and how it was executed! And the last episode brought Barney back to his ridiculous self so that's good, but the ending had me all asfkdljakdfjs.

I need you to do one more thing for me. Trust me, Chuck. is all I can think of when I see that line of yours, ahahaha.

idk, I liked it. That they both decided it on their own. Ok, not so much for the fat suit and whatever they did with Robin, but we know that was just in Ted's mind, they didn't actually look like that. I haven't seen the latest ep yet though, so I can't comment on that.

Haha, classic line!

P.S. That is so weird. The title you used for this entry, my best friend tweeted that yesterday! (Incidentally, my first reaction was thinking she was talking about the fail tv show and I was all "wtf, why?" lol)
