Have you seen the hybrid on geekologie that gets 300mpg, they are taking deposits for them now. If I didn't think it would take crisco and a shoe-horn to get me into one I would be tempted.

I'm surprised at how relatively affordable it is. The all-electric version is only a couple grand more than my Civic Hybrid cost new.

Looks like it would tip over at the slightest provocation, though...

Kind of like the super-space version of Mr. Bean's three wheeled car. Without the pad-lock, of course. The price surprised me also. I'm glad it costs so little, maybe the price of a hybrid will be in my range shortly.

I'm going with 2 and 3, but would not be suprised if 1 is the correct answer. That, and this is just further proof that science needs to move full steam ahead with technology to give blind people "radar senses" like Mr. Murdock so this wouldn't even be an issue...

If there are blind people standing in the road listening for cars in the first place, I says they deserve to be run down. Just hold your breath and cross the street as quick as, dammit, same as the rest of us.
