I want to see those pictures. And I really hope the landlord replaces stuff because that's definitely not any of your fault. Our ceiling was dripping last winter and my dad was there at 6am the next morning taking stuff apart.

Something for the future: renter's insurance. It is really cheap considering that it covers everything you own in a rented place (up to a limit). I finally have it, though should have gotten it years ago. (shame on me)

Way to go for crummy landlords, I know I've had my fill of them.
