I heard this beautiful story the other day about telling children they are doing to die. First this doctor told the parents the bad news and they where very upset and worried about how the child would take it. How could it cross his mind, the meaning of death, no one knows. He made up his own meaning, as all of us do (he thought of heaven).
He did realise he would be seperated from his parents, so I think he did have some kind of notion of it...

It's still sad though.

Yes you're probably right, but not the same ideas that cross our mind when we think of death

'we'? I don't think there is a 'we'... That's what I was trying to say, everyone has a different idea about death...
I don't think I have the same idea about death as you, I don't see death like a great evil or something, just something that happens. I could welcome it just like any event, it's an adventure I guess. And don't think that I'm depressed or something, cause I'm not.

It wasn't my intention to generalize the we but just the fact that "we" (sorry no other way to formulate that) realize that we won't wake up after death. Not what death entails, I would never venture to speculate.
