Theo can already see the online pay stub for his April 15th Army paycheck, and it's been cut in half...i.e., it's his pay for April 1-8 only, in anticipation of the shutdown at midnight tonight.

Dude. How is Congress NOT part of the government? How can they still be getting paychecks during a government shutdown????

Because they're *special*, of course. They voted themselves immunity from losing pay during shutdowns a long time ago.
