Mikey was bored today - not much work coming in. So he played with the timing of my beast.
And then I managed to adjust valve lash clearance, so I think that's better. The timing may need more work though. As I was leaving work, the beast stalled at a traffic light. It started right up again, but still, not a great sign...
And on my day off I managed to get one of the corner lenses in orange and white. I've been told it won't pass inspection with white and white corner lenses. I don't know. A friend tells me I can go through inspection and find out. I may try it.
And sometimes it sucks to be right. When driving the car TO the shop, I noticed spongy brake pedal problem. I assumed it was a bad master brake cyliinder. One of the techs told me it was due to faulty rear calipers. It turns out to not be JUST the rear calipers gone bad, but ALSO a bad master cylinder. I'll see about replacing it via our parts place tomorrow. But that sucks! Yet more money to throw into a car that isn't my baby. *grumpy sigh*
