The Gist's RSS Feed

Thanks to people who know LJ much, much better than I do (etherlad), you can now get a reliable RSS feed from my new, regular blog delivered to the LJ interface you know and love. That address: thegist_willh.

I have no idea if I'll get comments posted to that feed or not. I don't know how anything works. Update: Another person who is smarter than I (adamjury) tells me that

People can commet on the feed on LJ, but they obviously won't appear on your real blog, and the comments expire after a small amount of time, just like the feed items do.

Therefore, I don't think you should encourage people to leave comments there. :-)

I have to admit to being woefully out of the loop when it comes to many forms of technology. I don't yet have the RSS feed thing down, although the Viking has explained the basic idea. I just haven't yet put it into practice, so while I may have the theory down, it's still very... theoretical... to me.

I have, however, bookmarked "Will's Blog" on my toolbar, and have been checking that daily since you announced its existence.

This is completely inappropriate and obviously in the wrong place, but I am trying to find a way to get in touch with one of the great friends from Iceland. I need to do a translation for a Cruac ritual that is being developed. Any leads, email addresses, etc.?
