One can be devout and still be willing to poke fun at their own beliefs. Life's too short to take everything so seriously all the time. :)

I consider myself to be devout based on my words and deeds, and I honestly don't see any reason why I can't make jokes about my own religion. I love the Lord, but that doesn't make the religion (and *real life*) any less ridiculous at times. That's just humanity.
