Before I start I need you all to know that I am writing from a keyboard that is mysteriously missing the apostrophe. If I sound really pompous and official, it is because I presently have no apostrophes at my disposition ( Read more... )

Hoi Sanne,

Las gisteren je verslag vóór vertrek en nu al je bericht vanuit Ljubljana met daarin je eerste ervaringen. Super dat je ons op deze manier op de hoogte houdt! Ook als ik straks weer aan het varen ben kan ik je dan volgen en kunnen we kontakt houden. Via mijn weblog zal ik jou ook op de hoogte blijven houden van mijn avontuur!

Jammer dat je nog een dagje moet wachten voor je "los kunt barsten" maar ach, niet getreurd, dit gaf de mogelijkheid om op de eerste dag je nieuwe omgeving een beetje te kunnen ontdekken. Hoop voor je dat je daar toch een beetje van hebt kunnen genieten en Svetlana morgen wel zult ontmoeten.

Tot het volgende bericht dan maar.

life here is cool as usual.. lot of work and lot of fun what else to say :-)
we just came back from the break so yeah..
wait - did you study at UCU in the past or somesort of thing like that? (because that might be the reason why i added you)

I did. I graduated from UCU in 2002. I dont think we have ever met.

I want bike lanes and a toasted sandwich which is a square foot. All I have here is rain, and you can't toast that. Lord knows I've tried.
