Mom says that the Wilber Cross and the Merritt both have stop signs at the end of the ramps so you have to merge from a dead stop. Yet another reason to avoid those two roads.
Mom also figured out where exactly we had the snafu in Cheshire. She and Dad have apparently missed that turn before due to traffic. That's right where we ran into the first of the parade sets ups and we were busy avoiding the guys selling balloons in the street. We just went father than expected. Next time the "pay attention, funky dogleg!" will be in directions.
This just confirms my suspicion that CT got all our traffic engineers out of the bargain bin. "sale on civil engineers! Half off one ones that have so little common sense they can't be allowed out without safety gear and a keeper. Warning, may kill selves in own apartment due to a tragic accident with baking soda." Stop signs on on ramps... fah!
