On friends, because, despite appearances to the contrary, I've actually had quite a few in my life. Also where they all went and the perils of school. Warning, get a bucket of popcorn first if you want to read. It's much longer than I anticipated.

In middle school I got around with rolling around the upstairs hallway in a rolling chair on several occasions. I never got stopped for a hall pass.

The one time I was stopped for a hall pass was by the brand new vice principal, as I was walking with a teacher.
"where's your hall pass?"
Teacher: "I AM the hall pass. I'm Dr. Earl."

I think the VP went and hid after that. Busting a teacher for a hall pass, just because they're short. oooh.
