Mom passed away very early this morning. We've been mourning off and on for a while, I think we'll take the actual death a bit better than the worry and stress of waiting for it like we have the past few months

I know the canned "Sorry to hear this" response doesn't accurately convey the magnitude of the situation. I'm glad the ordeal is resolved, even if it's not with the best of outcomes. It's moments like these that I am glad to have limited exposure to death.
