OK, so things are getting better. Turns out the truck just likely had some water in the tank. It is back up and running. I heard from the Honda place, and there is no engine damage to my new car. I've posted about my troubles with my new car. I was still able to get around though because I also have my little ol' '93 Ford Ranger pick up truck that I keep around. The fun with this is that on my way to work this morning, believe it or not, my truck broke down. So now both my car and my truck are broken. WTF??!!

So, Brian and I drive to Indy tonight. It was fun. Good times were had. Then, driving back from Indy it starts to snow. No biggie. I'm being careful. Then, in the middle of the road in the snow is an object. I have now officially replaced my Silver Honda Civic ('03) with a Silver Honda Civic ('07). I sorta miss my old car. But then again, I really like driving the new one, especially at night. It has lots of pretty dashboard lights. I am easily entertained by lights.

By the way, if you ever get the chance to see Pan's Labyrinth (El Laberinto del Fauno), see it. It is amazing. B and I saw it in Chicago over New Year's weekend. Excellent.

So now at work I have to hire a full time, a part time, and a student position. I suppose this will keep me occupied the next week or two ( Read more... )

Back from the Chicago New Year's Eve weekend trip with B. It was fun. I am tired.

So, less than two days until leaving for Chicago for the NYE weekend. I have booked the hotel room. A couple of other people that I know better figure out what we're doing NYE night. Yes, you know who you are. :P

I'm feeling like I need to begin transitioning to a new phase in life and in my outlook on certain situations. I'm also feeling like I need someone with whom I can talk openly and honestly about things. I'm also feeling that writing things like this in LiveJournal is all a bit silly.
