They didn't have cognitive science as an option, but psych was the closest choice. Too much math in psych? Not at UCLA. Cog Sci requiered engineering calculus, though (which sucked mightily.)

Maybe it was just too many science/bio classes. I dunno...but I remember not being particularly turned on by the requirements for the psych major at UCLA. But seriously, the highest math class I have ever taken is Statistics and the undergrad science course I picked was Oceanography. So yeah, English was the right major for me. Besides, there's plenty of psychological influence in literature. :-)

I scored 100% on both English and Linguistics.. I'm still not sure I'm gonna do the school thing, but if I do, I'll look into it ;o)
