[The room is very dark, but there's a glass filled with some fluid glowing bright green in the middle of his desk. His voice, from the right, can be heard.]

Depends on whether or not anyone's interested.

There's something vaguely intriguing about this idea. I'll give it a try.

If I die I'll just come back. I'm not doing anything right now I'll be there shortly. Where is your room exactly?

[Action]

[Jim makes his way to Sinclair's room in not time at all. He's still the same calm sort of boring fellow he's always been. On the way he thinks about the warning from Jack but what's the worse Sinclair can do?

He knocks on Sinclair's door.]

[The dark of the room makes it easy for him to walk over to the door without being seen, beyond a shifty shadow and the glow on his cigarette. He opens the door and stands back.] You don't mind bein' seen on camera, do you, sport?

[He enters the room and looks about curiously having yet to visit anyone else in the mansion. It's vaguely disappointing and Sinclair appears to be doing his famous disappearing southern gentleman routine. Well so much for seeing what the infamous Sinclair actually looks like. Jim reaches into his pocket to take out a cigarette and lights it.]

Of course not. Just don't expect me to put on a show for you. [Jim is joking but his voice dead pan.] So how is this going to work?

[Ha! Ha! Infamous. That'd just make him preen. He shrugs at Jim after retaking his position (carefully off-camera) and holds out an EVE hypo, also glowing the odd, sickly green.]

All you have t'do is inject this, into your arm.

We'll see what happens and take it from there.

[[ooc: I'm thinking whatever you'd like to do re: the ability. I'd prefer a new power, but we could also play with the "everyone's different, it has no set ability" aspect, if you'd like. :3]]

[ooc: I'm good with that but first a reenactment of a certain unpleasantness ( ... )

[He simply stays where he is, watching carefully, nonchalantly. This is about right for all plasmids when someone's just shot up for the first time, and he's not worried. Once Jim starts to stir again, he knows the first half, at least, is a success. Now for the hard part.]

That was your first taste'a ADAM, sport. How do you feel? Notice anythin' changin'? Sometimes the changes are, ah... more internal.

[ooc: He can change to liquid for a small period of time.]

I feel like I'm going to vomit and I hate you more than bad beer. Is this what is suppose to happen?!

[Jim's hands are shaking as he reaches into his pockets again. There's something quite obvious about his hands...or rather the seeming lack of visible flesh beyond the circulatory system.

The ex-writer doesn't notice until he brings the cigarette up to his lips. He stares and starts to poke his hand. The flesh is moist but still there it ripples as if made of water.]

Yessir. [He's more than a little amused at Jim's reaction. Damn, it never stops being funny. He watches his hands very, very carefully once he's noticed - and Jim notices too.] ... Well, I can't say I've seen this before. Try usin' it.

[Jim raises a brow at Sinclair's actions. He had to admit seeing the other guy a little on edge was nice right now but the sensation passes rather quickly. Jim doesn't want to be that kind of person but he's not above flicking him off.

The gesture with his hand that even without visible flesh should be quite obvious what he means.]

Consider being a human and explaining that to someone before they jump to help you.

[He flexes his hand. The change starts to travel to the rest of his body and the blood vessels disappear. Within seconds he's a clear liquid shaped like Jim then it bursts. There on the floor there's a large puddle of what looks like water. Jim can see but it takes a moment adjust to being so very low and well...being a liquid. He starts to move in a circle pattern trying to get use to the idea .]

[He flinches when Jim bursts but is otherwise ecstatic.] Can you speak?

[There's a pause as if he's trying to figure out how that'll work. Better not to think and just try.]

Y...Yes. [He seems to be testing his voice it sounds he's talking underwater and the puddle ripples in the process.] It's actually not that bad once you get use to it. How long is this little freak show suppose to last Sinclair?

Reply

worldentire May 25 2010, 03:41:52 UTC
Only as long as the EVE in your system is there. Shouldn't be too much longer, now. [grins] Thank you kindly for helpin' me out.
